St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton — Website redevelopment

St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, is a fully accredited academic health sciences centre affiliated with McMaster University. As a premier academic and research health care organization, St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton is committed to making a difference in people’s lives and in the future of its community through integrated health services and internationally recognized programs.

St. Joe’s engaged Intent to redevelop their website into a leading edge online experience. At the same time Intent helped develop a coherent and functional brand platform for St. Joe’s. The primary objective was to create a simple, organized, but dynamic responsive designed website reflective of the Hospital’s brand.

Intent conceptualized the “help desk” feature to make this website the most patient friendly hospital website in North America. Whatever you need as a visitor, Nurse Ruth at our help desk can help you. Whether you are looking for medical help, a job, or directions; Nurse Ruth will guide you to the information you are looking for. With a page count of over 200 pages, this guidance is particularly useful.

Stjoes.ca is mobile, tablet and browser friendly, is search engine optimized, and is built using a robust and user-friendly CMS. We utilized custom photography of St. Joe’s people to bring an authentic human feel to the website. Importantly, the website also surpasses AODA AA requirements.
